AN INAUGURAL EVENT FOR THE COMMUNITY FOUNDATION OF MISSISSAUGA

Foundation to host "All For Community" Speakers Luncheon

Mississauga, ON, March 16, 2009:  The Community Foundation of Mississauga will host its first ever "All For Community" Speakers Luncheon on April 29th 2009 at the Credit Valley Golf and Country Club in Mississauga.  Community residents and leaders will gather together from 11:30 am to 2:00 pm for great food, great auction prizes and great fun, all in support of a great community.

Themed "All For Community", the luncheon will celebrate philanthropy in Mississauga and will honor the city and all its accomplishments.  Already creating quite a buzz, the event will host approximately 250 guests from all different areas of the community who will assemble to meet and greet with many of Mississauga's top leaders.  Guests will gather together for a great opportunity to support the Foundation with an extensive silent auction, will enjoy a sumptuous lunch and terrific entertainment for the afternoon.

A GOLFING FIRST FOR THE COMMUNITY FOUNDATION AND MISSISSAUGA

Foundation to host “100 Holes, One Day” Golf Marathon supporting the Community Mississauga, ON, April 15, 2008:

The Community Foundation of Mississauga will host its first ever Golf Marathon on the 11th of September, 2008 at the prestigious Legends Course of Lionhead Golf Club. Billed as “100 Holes, One Day”, golfers will tee off at approximately 6:30 am and play one hundred holes of golf finishing at approximately 6:00 pm for dinner and prizes.

The Community Foundation of Mississauga approved a new slate of Executive Officers to help guide the organization into its next stage of growth and development.

Included in the approval of Executive Officers were Ray Lessard who will assume the role of President and Steven Offer who will assume the role of Vice President.

Community Foundation of Mississauga to unveil Donor Recognition Wall

Mississauga, ON, October 11, 2007: The Community Foundation of Mississauga will reveal a first for a Canadian community foundation on October 18, 2007 when it unveils its Donor Recognition Wall to be located in the Great Hall of the Mississauga Civic Centre.
