The event opens with a reception beginning at 6:30 pm and the evening's agenda kicks off at 7:00. Over thirty awards will be presented to many of Mississauga's leading citizens and businesses including Mary Kay Cosmetics Ltd., Ontario Trillium Foundation, AstraZeneca Canada, BDO Dunwoody, The Wordham Family Fund and more.
Shelley White, CEO of the United Way of Peel will deliver the Key Note Address, speaking about the powerful impact of philanthropy. Capping off the evening at 8:00 pm, will be refreshments, networking and a guided tour of the current exhibit at the Art Gallery of Mississauga by gallery Executive Director, Fred Troughton.
"We are very proud to be acknowledging these important donors," says Eileen MacKenzie, Executive Director of the Community Foundation of Mississauga. "As we look back on our achievements over the past year, including our first ever granting in the spring, we recognize that these achievements have been made possible through outstanding acts of caring and a commitment to building on the quality of life for people in Mississauga on the part of these donors."
