An exciting lineup of speakers and special guests has been put in place for the inaugural Luncheon, including renowned key note speaker, Michael "Pinball" Clemons.  Michael Clemons is the CEO of the Toronto Argonauts football team and a noteworthy philanthropist through the many charities he supports.  He is the perfect fit for the theme of this event as he will speak on the importance of belonging to a community and being involved in important causes.  Global Television news anchor, Leslie Roberts will also be on hand as Master of Ceremonies for the event.  Roberts is also very involved in the community, sits on several charity boards and is actively engaged in local fundraising events.  The Luncheon will further feature Mississauga South MPP, Charles Sousa as special guest.  Sousa is a dynamic community volunteer and has been avidly involved in many Mississauga charitable organizations.  He is also a past volunteer with the Community Foundation of Mississauga.

After the event is over, guests will not only be left with great memories of an outstanding event, but will have the satisfaction of knowing that their support has benefited the Community Foundation of Mississauga and has also helped support the community as a whole.  The Community Foundation of Mississauga is a registered charitable public foundation that works to build endowed funds creating a sustainable source of grants for the many charitable programs and services that go into making Mississauga a great city for everyone.  Guests can walk away satisfied knowing they are helping to support programs and services in health, education, children's needs, arts, culture, heritage, human services, anti-poverty initiatives, the environment and so much more.

"We are very excited about this new event", says Eileen MacKenzie, Executive Director of the Foundation.  "This event really marks the next step for the Foundation.  Now more than ever will support from the community be integral in the growth of the organization and our ability to support programs and services in Mississauga."
