Apply for a Grant

Making grants to help strengthen our community is at the heart of what our Community Foundation is all about. Grant recipients are selected in two ways...

Donor Directed or Donor Advised

Many donors choose to establish a fund with a particular philanthropic interest or goal in mind. These donors have determined or will annually determine what qualified donees will receive the granting from their fund.

Recommended to the Board of Directors

Some donors choose to give to funds such as the Community or Field of Interest funds and a granting committee established by the Board of Directors determines what qualified donees shall receive grants from these funds.

All Grant Recipients are recommended to the Board of Directors for final approval.
